Papprkakar (Swedish Gingersnaps) - cooking recipe

2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cardamon seed
2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. cream
8 c. flour
Preparation

Combine Karo and sugar.
Let come to a boil.
Remove from fire and add butter while hot.
Add cream.
Sift flour and spices together.
Add to the first mixture.
Mix the night before and bake in the a.m. Roll very thin and cut with cookie cutter.
