Basque Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. chicken
2/3 c. uncooked rice
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. oil
1 qt. canned tomatoes
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cut chicken into serving pieces (or use 6 boned breasts). Arrange in greased 3-quart casserole.
Lightly brown rice, garlic and onions in oil.
Add tomatoes and seasonings and pour over chicken.
Cover with foil and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until chicken is tender and rice is done, about 1 hour.
Serves 6 to 8.
