Sardines Made From Smelt - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. cleaned smelt
    3/4 c. oil
    canning salt
    2 c. smoked barbecue sauce
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Pack fish in pint jars.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon canning salt to each jar.
    Pour sauce over fish in jars; seal.
    Process in pressure cooker for 50 minutes at 10 pounds.
