Scalloped Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. milk
    1 c. crushed saltine crackers (22 crackers)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn
    1/4 c. finely chopped pimiento
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    2 Tbsp. dry, chopped onion
Preparation
    Combine egg, milk, 2/3 cup crackers, salt and pepper.
    Stir in corn, onion and pimiento; mix well.
    Turn into a 1-quart casserole dish.
    Toss butter with remaining crackers; sprinkle on top of corn mixture.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
