Elegant Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 to 8 medium potatoes
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Boil, peel, cool and shred potatoes. Shred cheese.
    Alternate layers of potatoes and cheese in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Pour whipping cream over potatoes and cheese.
    Mix bread crumbs and 1 tablespoon butter and sprinkle over potato mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
