Quick Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1 stick margarine, melted
    2 to 3 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1 (12 oz.) carton sour cream
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    10 to 12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Stir all ingredients together, except for corn flakes and 1/2 stick margarine.
    Pour into casserole dish.
    Top with corn flakes which have been mixed with 1/2 stick melted margarine.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
    This freezes well, but don't put topping on to freeze.
