Chocolate Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. rounded cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. soft shortening
    5 eggs, unbeaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0; grease bottom of 10 x 15 x 1-inch pan. Place all ingredients in bowl; beat 3 minutes, add nuts.
    Spread in greased pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cut in 48 (2-inch) squares when cool.
