Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    1/4 c. butter
    1 pt. milk
    1/4 c. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Strain juice from oysters and save.
    Remove shells from oysters, if there are any.\tPut 1/4 cup of butter in frypan on medium heat, add oysters and cook until oysters are curled and cooked.
    Pour
    in
    strained juice, milk and 1/4 cup butter and salt and
    pepper to taste; heat to boiling point.
    Reduce heat to medium;
    add
    cooked
    oysters.
    Simmer for 2 minutes, then serve at once.
