Crispy Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. quick rolled oats
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream margarine until smooth and soft. Cream in both brown sugar and granulated sugar and the egg.
Add vanilla.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix until smooth. Add rolled oats.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on flat surface. Yields 2 dozen.
