Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. cream
1/2 c. dark syrup
1 tsp. maple or vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in heavy saucepan.
Boil until soft ball stage.
Remove from heat and add flavoring.
Cool until thick in pan.
Beat until it loses its gloss.
Pour in buttered plate and cool enough to handle.
Mold into rolls and roll in pecans or chopped salted nuts.
