Holiday Basic Batch Recipe - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 c. flour
2 Tbsp. Arm & Hammer baking soda
2 tsp. salt
6 c. sugar
3 c. butter flavored shortening (do not substitute)
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients in an 8-quart bowl.
Blend in shortening with a pastry cutter until mixture is crumbly.
May be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. Refrigeration is not necessary.
Yields 18 cups.
