Sage Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. yellow squash
    1 1/2 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 small can chopped green chilies
    12 crumbled crackers
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    garlic salt; salt; sage; pepper and picante sauce, all to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender enough to mash.
    Drain well and mash.
    Mix in 1 teaspoon of the grated cheese.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Pour into a baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
