Popovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 tsp. melted butter or margarine (optional)
Preparation
    Grease muffin tins well.
    Beat egg until fluffy.
    Add flour slowly.
    Add milk and beat again.
    Use baster to fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
    Place in cold oven.
    Turn heat to 450\u00b0.
    Makes 4 to 5 regular size or 1 dozen cocktail size.
    Regular muffins bake in 35 minutes; cocktail muffins bake in 20 to 25 minutes.
    May be filled with grated cheese or ham.
