Cheese And Bacon Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil or melted shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Grease and heat skillet, muffin pans or cornstick molds.
    Beat egg in a mixing bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended.
    Pour into pan.
    Bake 18 to 20 minutes for skillet or 15 to 18 minutes for muffins and sticks.
