Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    1 small onion
    1 lb. mild pork sausage
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 small head cabbage
    1 egg
    salt
Preparation
    Mix together sausage, egg, rice and finely chopped onion. Place the head of cabbage in boiling water to loosen and remove outer leaves.
    Cut core part of leaves down to thin areas.
    Place small amount of meat mixture in each leaf and roll up.
    Push ends in.
    Place in large pot; pour tomatoes over and simmer until rice is tender.
    Serve hot with bread.
