Apple Raisin Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
2 apples

Preparation

Mix together thoroughly the sugar, shortening and egg.
Stir in milk.
Sift together and stir in the flour, baking powder, salt and raisins.
Spread in 9-inch pan (greased).
Slice 2 apples and line on top of batter.
Mix cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle on top of apples.
Bake 45 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
