Seafoam Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lime Jell-O (sugar-free)
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (fat-free)
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip (lite)
    1 large can pears
    1 (12 oz.) low-fat cottage cheese (optional)
    1 small pkg. pecan chips (optional)
Preparation
    Drain juice from pears and heat in microwave for 2 minutes. Mix hot pear juice with lime Jell-O and mix with a mixer. Set in refrigerator to cool and thicken. Smash pears with a fork. Add pears, cream cheese, Cool Whip, cottage cheese and pecans to the lime Jell-O. Refrigerate.
