Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup and water in 2-quart saucepan.
    Bring to boil. Boil until syrup spins a thread.
    Add peanuts and continue to cook stirring constantly, until it turns golden brown.
    Remove from heat; add butter and soda.
    The mixture will honeycomb as you stir. Pour onto a chilled heavy cookie sheet 18 x 24-inch.
