Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    In saucepan, mix sugar, margarine, syrup and salt.
    Stir over medium heat until boiling.
    Continue boiling without stirring for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Stir to coat well.
    Bake in 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour. Stir several times during baking.
    Will keep several weeks, crisp, if stored in airtight container.
