Strawberry Jello - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    3 bananas, mashed well
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple with juice
    sour cream
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
    Add frozen strawberries, stirring occasionally until thawed.
    Add pineapple with juice, bananas and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Pour 1/2 mixture in mold or pan. This mixture should be about 1/2 inch deep.
    Put in refrigerator until set.
    (Leave other 1/2 out of refrigerator.)
    Spread thin layer of sour cream over set Jell-O.
    Pour rest of Jell-O mixture over sour cream.
    Refrigerate until firmly set.
    Serves 10 to 12 (or keeps for several days).
