Apple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can Wilderness pie sliced apples, drained
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan with the brown sugar.
    Dot with butter or margarine.
    Arrange pie sliced apples on top of the mixture.
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions and pour batter over the apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Invert cake when warm.
    Serve warm with whipped topping.
