Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    1 Tbsp. flour
    vanilla flavoring
    1 c. sugar
    1 qt. milk
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat 3 egg yolks and sugar until fluffy.
    Add the flour until smooth.
    Stir in the milk.
    Cook until thickened slightly, stirring constantly.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and dry.
    Fold into cooked custard.
    Don't let boil over.
    Add flavoring of choice.
    Top custard with nutmeg.
