Double Quick Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 Tbsp. soft shortening
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. warm water
1 pkg. active dry yeast
Preparation

Put all ingredients in bowl.
Mix well until smooth.
Scrape sides of bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
Let rise in warm place until doubles (about 30 minutes).
Grease 12 large muffin cups. Stir down raised dough.
Spoon into muffin cups, filling 1/2 full. Let rise again until double (20 to 30 minutes).
Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Preparation time:
1 1/2 to 2 hours.
