Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped

Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup and water, stirring until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and cook without stirring until drop of syrup put into cold water forms a hard ball.
