Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. Karo syrup
2 c. peanuts, shelled (uncooked)
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Place sugar, Karo and peanuts in a 2 1/2-quart heavy pan. Cook on high heat, stirring constantly until hard crack (300\u00b0) or until syrup turns light amber.
Remove from heat.
Stir in soda, beating rapidly until well mixed (about 10 seconds).
Pour onto a lightly oiled cookie sheet.
Do not spread or break.
Let cool. Break into pieces, then call me.
