Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sirloin
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    6 Tbsp. catsup
    1 c. beef bouillon
    cooked rice or noodles of choice
    poppy seed
Preparation
    Cut steak into 2-inch square pieces.
    Saute garlic and onion in shortening; remove from skillet.
    Dredge beef in mixture of flour, salt and pepper; brown evenly over low heat.
    Return onion and garlic to skillet.
    Add mushrooms, catsup and bouillon.
    Cover and cook for 1 hour.
    Add additional bouillon if needed.
    Add sour cream; mix thoroughly.
    Serve over rice or noodles sprinkled with poppy seed.
