Kolachy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup preserves
Preparation

Put butter in bowl of electric mixer.
Beat on medium speed until butter is fluffy.
Add cream cheese, beat until well incorporated.
Beat in flour, sugar, and salt until most of flour is mixed.
Finish mixing by hand. (Do not overbeat or kolachy will be tough.)
Flatten dough into a disk; wrap in plastic wrap. Chill 4 hours or overnight.
