2 c. Quaker oats
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. strawberry preserves
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except preserves in large mixing bowl; beat at low speed on electric mixer until mixture is crumbly. Reserve 2 cups mixture; press remaining onto bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Spread preserves evenly over base.
Sprinkle with reserved mixture.
Bake in preheated hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool.
Cut into squares.
