Small Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Measure flour and add baking powder and salt.
    Sift.
    Beat eggs hard and sift in sugar gradually.
    Heat milk and add butter; stir into eggs.
    Add flour mixture and flavoring.
    Beat well. Bake in an ungreased tube pan for 30 or 40 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Allow to stand 1 hour.
    Serve plain or frost.
