Picadillo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped fine
    1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
    1/4 c. stuffed olives, chopped fine
    1/4 c. chopped capers
    2 chopped onions
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    salt and pepper
    oil for cooking
Preparation
    In a large skillet, saute garlic, onions, green pepper and capers in a small amount of cooking oil until translucent. Gradually add crumbled ground beef.
    Stir, so it browns slightly. Add tomatoes (these may be cut up, if desired), oregano, salt, pepper, olives, raisins and vinegar.
    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Skim off excess grease.
    Serve with rice and black beans.
