Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. crushed pretzels
    1/4 c. sugar
    8 Tbsp. melted margarine
    8 oz. softened cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 large box strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    16 oz. frozen strawberries, defrosted
Preparation
    Set oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar and melted margarine.
    Spread in 8 x 12-inch pan.
    Bake 10 minutes.
    Cool. Cream softened cream cheese and sugar.
    Beat in Cool Whip.
    Spread gently over cooled pretzel crust and chill.
    Add boiling water to Jell-O.
    Chill until it begins to thicken.
    Stir in defrosted berries.
    Pour over cheese layer and chill until firm.
    Serves 8.
