Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 beaten egg
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. salad oil, melted shortening or bacon fat
Preparation

Stir all dry ingredients together.
Stir all wet ingredients together.
Put them together; hand stir.
(The batter will be lumpy.)
It will make 12 large pancakes.
