Dorothy'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell
    2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    strawberries
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch in heavy saucepan.
    Add water and stir.
    Boil for 2 minutes.
    Add jello, butter, lemon and stir slowly until jello dissolves.
    Clean strawberries; halve or quarter them.
    Place in shell (amount optional).
    Pour glaze over; chill.
    Serve with whipped topping.
