Favorite Hermits - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. warm water
3 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
