Dutch Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. pumpkin
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/8 tsp. allspice
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together:
    pumpkin, sugar, Crisco and egg.
    Add flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, cloves and allspice.
    Mix well.
    Add vanilla, raisins and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Drizzle with a thin powdered sugar icing while cookies are still hot.
    Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
