Quick Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) can Spam
    3/4 c. sliced celery
    2 minced garlic cloves
    1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 1/2 c. instant rice
    3/4 c. diced green pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Cut Spam into 2 x 1/4-inch strips.
    Saute Spam, green peppers, celery, onion and garlic in oil until vegetables are tender.
    Add tomatoes, water, thyme and chili powder, breaking tomatoes up with fork.
    Bring to a full boil.
    Stir in rice. Cover; remove from heat.
    Let stand for 5 minutes.
    Fluff with fork.
