Microwave Boardwalk Taffy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 c. strong coffee
    2 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened baking chocolate
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Generously grease 8-inch square baking pan.
    In a 2-quart glass measure, combine corn syrup, coffee, chocolate and salt and mix well.
    Cook (micro) on High for 12 to 18 minutes or until microproof candy thermometer registers at 255\u00b0 (or until small amount of mixture forms a ball hard enough to hold its shape but is still pliable when dropped into very cold water).
