Yum Yum Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. lime jello
    1/2 c. cold water
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple
    juice of 1 lemon
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Cool Whip
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. finely grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in cold water.
    Cook pineapple and juice, sugar and lemon juice until steaming hot.
    Add jello; put in refrigerator until almost set.
    Add cheese, Cool Whip and nuts. Refrigerate until firm.
