Baked Macaroni Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bulk sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cans tomatoes (1 lb.)
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. salt
3 qt. boiling water
8 oz. (2 c.) elbow macaroni
buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
-
Fry sausage and chop into small pieces.
Remove from pan and set aside.
Add onion and green pepper.
Cook until soft. Add tomatoes (cut with edge of spoon), sugar, salt, pepper and sausage; simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
