Mama'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 peeled, cored, chopped tomatoes
    2 large green tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 seeded, chopped green peppers
    2 seeded, chopped red peppers
    2 seeded, chopped hot peppers
    3 large onions, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt (to taste)
Preparation
    In large sauce pot, combine red and green tomatoes, red, green and hot peppers, onion and garlic.
    Simmer about 20 to 30 minutes. Add both sugars and vinegar.
    Boil 10 minutes more and then add salt, cinnamon and cloves.
    Boil until desired thickness.
    Test for flavor.
    Pour hot mixture into hot, sterilized pint jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
    Process 30 minutes in boiling water bath. Makes about 6 half pints.
