Marinara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large cans Italian-style tomatoes
    1 onion
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 cloves garlic
    salt
    pepper
    Parmesan cheese
    basil
Preparation
    Saut onions in olive oil until tender. Add garlic, tomatoes, salt and pepper, about 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese and about 2 to 3 tablespoons basil. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes. Serve over hot pasta.
