Different Chicken And Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken drumsticks
    6 chicken thighs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 lb. lean pork sausage
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    2 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
    In a large ovenproof fry pan, place butter and melt over medium heat.
    Add chicken pieces, 6 at a time, and brown on both sides.
    Remove browned chicken from pan and pour off drippings.
    In same pan, place sausage, onion, celery and green pepper.
    Cook, stirring often, about 5 minutes or until sausage is crumbly and vegetables are tender.
    Pour off drippings.
    To sausage mixture in pan, add rice, corn and chicken broth.
    Stir well and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and arrange chicken on top of rice mixture.
    Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until chicken is done.
