Country Fried Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. cube steak
flour (self-rising)
salt and pepper to taste
cooking oil
1/4 stick margarine
Preparation

Batter steak in flour; add to hot grease and cook until brown on both sides.
Take out and put on paper towels.
Pour off part of your grease and add margarine.
Add enough flour to make a thick paste; brown and add enough water to make a thick gravy. Add steak to gravy, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
