"Miriam'S" Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    water (lukewarm or room temperature)
    chicken (whole or parts)
    salt
    chicken soup base or bouillon
    margarine
Preparation
    Cook chicken and set aside to cool.
    While cooking, mix flour and enough water to make stiff as a ball of pizza dough.
    Cover and let set until ready to roll as thin as you can, using enough flour so they will not be sticky.
    Cut in strips and drop into boiling broth.
    When chicken is cool, separate from skin and bones and set aside until dumplings are about cooked.
    Put chicken in and let it all get hot again and eat.
