Skillet Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Combine cornmeal, egg, flour, buttermilk and sugar if desired. Cover bottom of skillet with cooking oil and sprinkle with cornmeal.
Heat pan in oven, then pour cornbread mixture into hot pan.
Bake at 450\u00b0 until brown.
Serve hot.
