Old Fashioned Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. chicken
    1 stalk celery with leaves, chopped
    1 carrot, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    2 large red potatoes, cut up
    1 can corn
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. parsley, chopped up
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation
    Cut chicken into pieces.
    Combine chicken, celery, carrot, onion, salt and pepper in a large pan; cover with water.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours. Remove chicken from broth; set aside until it cools.
    Debone chicken; place pieces back into pan.
    Add the potatoes and corn to mixture; simmer.
