Easy Raisin-Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation

Add raisins to cold water.
Boil and cook until soft.
Add baking soda and set aside to cool.
Mix remaining ingredients together; add raisins and water.
Grease and flour pan (angel food pan or Bundt pan).
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Leave plain or top with confectioners sugar.
