Art'S Sausage Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1 lb. hot or mix of hot and mild sausage
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. nuts, coarsely chopped
3 c. flour
2 tsp. dried ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cold coffee
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Simmer raisins in water 5 minutes.
Drain.
Saute sausage until almost cooked and drain off fat.
Mix sausage, brown and white sugars and eggs.
Add nuts and raisins.
Mix flour, spices and baking powder.
Stir baking soda into coffee and add flour mixture and coffee to sausage mixture.
Spoon into muffin tins; bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Mixture also can be baked in a 9-inch tube pan and baked for 1 1/2 hours.
