Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter (not oleo)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

In a buttered 9-inch pie plate, sprinkle pecans.
Melt butter in a small, heavy saucepan.
Add sugar.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it reaches 290\u00b0 on a candy thermometer. Pour over nuts.
