Carrot Cake With Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting - cooking recipe

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 large grated carrots
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar until mixture is light.
Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat.
Add the flour, salt, cinnamon and soda; beat for 1 minute, until blended.
Add rest of ingredients; beat until blended.
Put into 2 buttered layer pans (with removable bottoms).
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Remove rings; let cool.
